Announcing the Fifty Screenprint Showdown Design Contest Finalists

First off, thank you to everyone who submitted a design to the Screenprint Showdown Design Contest. We were overwhelmed by how many high-quality we received and how supremely moving the submissions were. We loved how people dug deep for inspiration and expressed their San Jose experiences with skill and grace.

NOW, what does it mean to be a Finalist? 

1. Your design will be on display at this Saturday's Screenprint Showdown Event where people will be able to view your designs and vote for their favorite. Voting at the Screenprint Showdown Event runs from 11 AM to 3 PM. The People's Choice Winner will be announced at approximately 4 PM.

2. The design that receives the most votes will be named the Screenprint Showdown Design Contest's People's Choice Winner. 

3. The People's Choice Winner will receive a year-long subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud as well as a $500 grant from San Jose's Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) to go toward their professional development.

In other words, it behooves you to share the good news with as many people as possible and get as many people as possible to come out to the Screenprint Showdown (event link: https://www.facebook.com/events/331757143614833/) to vote for your design!

We'll also be announcing the four winners selected by our esteemed panel of judges. Each winner will receive a year-long subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud as well as $500 from The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

*NOTE: If you are an Adobe employee, you will not be eligible to receive Adobe Creative Cloud as part of your prize package. However, you will still be eligible to receive the rest of your prizes.
